SBI Clerk Recruitment Process 2012: The State Bank of India has commence the process of increase its work force with over 9500 job opening.It has modified its earlier advertisement by increasing the number of vacancies and postponing the exams day.
The vacancies include; 8500 clerk asisstants, including the previously advertised 3100 posts, 1000 stenographers, of which 900 is English and 100 is Hindi.
The vacancy is opened to;
1. Age to be : 18 - 28 years, as on 1.12.2011 [+3 yrs for OBC, +5 yrs for SC/ST]
2. Must have secured 60% aggregate marks in std.XII diploma (after 10th)
3. Pass in any degree, as on Dec 1, 2011
4. Apart from knowledge of local language, you must be able to write speak english fluently because you
will have to involve in marketing cross sell products services.
Procedure of selection
The selection will be bassed on a written exams whis is basically an objective type examination. The subjects will cover:
1. Eglish
2. Quantitative Aptitude.
4. General Awareness.
5. Reasoning.
6. Marketing Aptitude and Computers.
Interested candidates are to apply online for the posts, on or before 26-03-2012 through SBI website www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in. After submission of online application, candidates are advised to take print of application and retain it for further use.

3. Select the Online Application link.
4. Fill all marked details in the application form.
5. If payment of Fee is made online, enter fee payment details along with all other details.
6. If payment of Fee is made offline, Challan must be downloaded after submission of application for fee payment.
7. Upload scanned photograph and submit the application.
8. Take print of Application form for further use.

Log on to www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in. Select Online Application Format, fill the application and save it. Download the Fee Payment Challan and take print. Retain the system generated Registration number and password. Pay the amount at any State Bank of India branch after 2 working days of registration and within 3 working days thereafter. Candidates will receive confirmation message through SMS or E Mail
